If you are just online for fun and games, then this report really isn't for you. You are not looking at the Internet from the same mindset that I am. I am expecting to earn a profit even when I create a web site just for fun.
That is my goal in everything I do online, and I don't just want to earn a small profit. I want to earn the "Maximum Money" possible from every effort I put forth.
For example, you can get subscribers to an opt-in list by putting a subscriber form on all your web pages. You will get five times as many subscribers daily if you team up with four other web sites to all offer each other's ezines on your thank you page for subscribing. Why only receive 10 subscribers a day when you could be getting 50?
Another quick and easy technique to increase your profits is to team up with companies who have similar products and offer each other's products to someone immediately after they buy from you. You will increase your profits by 10% to 30% immediately by listing similar products and services on an order thank you page.
We could go on and on about specific "Maximum Money" techniques like this, and we will do so in our weekly issues. You will learn more money making techniques for web marketing through this free newsletter than you could from 99% of the web marketing products out there...
Above all else, there are ten techniques which will help you build your Internet profits faster than you ever imagined. If you have been online and haven't been making any money...or you've been make pitifully small amounts of money, then I expect that you are missing or neglecting on 2 or more of these ten Internet profit generators.
Once you have all ten in place, you will earn Internet profits. Even a few of them could give you profits like you never imagined before.
So, if you are just starting out, take one or two of these suggestions and put them in place. Save the rest of them for later. You should print out and file this report for later review. Don't try to start doing all ten at one time or you will go insane. Just focus on one, two, or three of the suggestions for now, and leave the rest for later.
Profit Generator #1: Your own domain name
Too many people try to use a free web site from Angelfire, Geocities, or one of the other free hosting companies where they place their ads all over your web site. Sure, someone could start out that way, BUT you will put yourself at a major disadvantage from the get-go.
Although people new to the Internet may purchase from you at a free web site, those who have been online for a decent amount of time will see you as someone who isn't too serious about selling online.
Having your own domain name gives you a little bit more credibility in the eyes of your visitors. You look like a more established web business.
The second advantage of owning your own domain is that it puts you in control of your own destiny. If your host gives bad service, move your site. If your free host gives bad service, you have to stick it through...as your links stay with their domain name. You don't have the option to upgrade, to move your site, or expand your business.
Those who try to use free hosts cripple their sites, their growth, and their sales from the start.
So, go to Domain Names and start trying out different possible domain names for your site. Once you find one that is available, write it down. Keep trying different names and combinations until you have one that you want to use.
Then, choose a host for your domain name. I used to recommend a lot of different hosts, until one by one they started messing up on me and not delivering on their promises. I also used to list a number of requirements which are important to your host (high traffic allowed, real audio/video, autoresponders, secure ordering, etc.). You have to have all of that, but the one thing that stands head and shoulders above every feature of your host is the speed of the technical support.
I have had several hosts who took a week to respond to any tech support question, and one host never did respond even after repeated phone calls and emails. Many hosts are out to get your money and then they leave you high and dry.

You must have multiple streams of income online to be successful. The search engines can give you a head start in generating traffic to your web site, but they are not the final answer to traffic generation.

I have been running a very successful opt-in list of over 36,000 members for over 3 years now, but it has only been recently that I have noticed just how important this list is to my overall strategy and profits.
Ninety percent of my personal sales come from the opt-in list. In other words, I would have been leaving 90% of my profits on the table if I didn't produce this newsletter every week.

There are three different ways that people run their Opt-In lists:
Some use email software to run their lists. This solution may work when the list is small, but if they go over 1,000 members they will notice that it becomes very difficult to do their mailings. It takes hours to do the mailings and it eventually becomes unmanageable.
The second solution is to use a listserver. Currently Web Gold is using this solution and has done so for the past two years. It works well for management of a list and it has been what I recommended people use the past two years. The problem is that a good one will cost you right around $400 AND you can't personalize your mailings.
The third solution which has only been made practical very recently is to use a CGI program to handle and maintain your list. Wes Blaylock has invented a revolutionary new CGI program called "Mail Master Pro" which can send HTML email messages, personalize the emails with the name of the subscribers, and has been tested on lists of up to 70,000 members.
Not only that, but it also can handle all of the subscribes and unsubscribes automatically. I never liked using a CGI program for opt-in lists before, but I have been testing this new program during the past few weeks and love it.

Profit Generator #7: Own Your Own Product
There is a BIG lie circulating on the Internet...and I am going to expose it to you today once and for all. Today, there will be no beating around the bush. The Truth has to be told.
This Lie is so overwhelming that probably 90% or more of internet marketers are being taken advantage by it...and it is sapping their potential in business day after day.

Profit Generator #8: Accept Credit Cards
Most of my orders come in by online secure order forms and a few by phone. Everyone of these orders uses a credit card to order with. Less than 5% of our orders come in by mail, check, or money order. So, if you don't at least accept VISA and Mastercard, then you aren't in business online. You should also accept American Express and Discover, but they aren't quite as important as the VISA/Mastercard duo.
If you don't have a merchant account, you are limited to only being a reseller for otherpeople's products and services. It is difficult to even sell classified ad space in an ezine if you don't have a merchant account.
It used to be extremely difficult to be able to accept credit cards from a home business or an Internet business. Banks would require photographs of your whole operation, large deposits, and large fees to process the cards...and that is if you could get approved by them at all.
Things have changed. Anyone can accept credit cards by using a major credit card processing company. If you are selling downloadable info products, then Clickbank at http://www.clickbank.com and Ibill at http://www.ibill.com are both good choices.
If you sell a product which is delivered by mail, than CCNow at http://www.ccnow.com can be a good choice, although they have a ton of limitations.
