Duplication is the Key to Online Success

Anyone can be successful marketing on the Internet. It's as simple as discovering what works for you. Successful people never consider quitting; they duplicate the things that bring success getting more and more successful.

Internet marketing success is a lot like launching a rocket into space. Ninety Nine percent of the work is in just getting off the launch pad, once launched you can ride the momentum to the stars. Making that first sale is the hardest; it may require weeks or months of effort. The more sales you have make the more you know about what works for you, and what efforts you need to duplicate.

Think Outside the box

When McDonald's started it was a single burger stand. As the McDonald brothers tried several ways of marketing, they eventually came up with a plan to be the best burger stand the local area. They accomplished this by taking a chance and trying something new and original for the time. They made the first DRIVE-IN burger stand, the rest is history.

McDonald's didn't have to go looking for people to sell franchises to, people found them. Most of the time & effort went into learning how to make that first store profitable. When you create your first successful business plan, you grow by duplicating the marketing efforts responsible for your early success.

No one can tell you how to make that first sale. I can tell you what works for me, but because everyone has different skills and experiences, what works for me is not necessarily going to work for you.

The hardest sale to make is the first one, after that each sale gets easier because you build on your early success. As you grow you gain experience and momentum. Don't expect to earn 6 figures the first year or two and you won't be disappointed and quit too soon.

The Three Hundred Dollar Solution

Your first home business goal should be to make $300 profit. The next goal is $300 a month then $300 a day. You can replace my figure with any number you want. The idea is to set obtainable goals and keep multiplying into the future.

Unfortunately most people quit, or more specifically they never get started. That's why they invented jobs, it's the both a *safe* alternate, and valuable backup source of income during your transition to self employment. Leverage Your Success

You can't fail unless you quit. The important thing to remember is * NEVER QUIT* success is the direct result of productive time and effort over time.

I can't tell you what to *do* to launch your business, I can tell you what is working for others or what is working for me. Everyone is blessed with their own special talents. The key is scientific experimentation, find & duplicate what ever works for you. Once you earn that first sale refine your efforts. Continue your experimentation, and make small changes to your marketing plan.

Over time continually revise your marketing plan based on your success. Success is achieved through many small steps over a period of time.

The reason I publish this newsletter is to share the marketing techniques that are working for the experts. If you want to be like them, do what they do and see if it works for you.

The average person may fail several times before launching a business successfully. The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that successful people keep on trying. It's really just that simple.

A Few Internet Marketing Guidelines

  1. Don't invest a lot of money up front. In fact - Don't spend too much money period. You usually can't buy success. Internet businesses should be profitable almost from the start.

  2. Everyone is an expert at something. Exploit and leverage your knowledge. People go to the Internet for free Information. Offer them useful information for free. This builds trust and helps establish your expertise.

  3. Create a dialogue with people you can help and people who can help you. The Internet can be impersonal - you must establish relationships by serving your niche market. Use joint ventures and partnerships to extend your reach.

  4. Use your email. It's your most valuable marketing tool - Find an information need then fill it. I'm not talking about SPAM, that doesn't work. You *communicate* with people to establish and build relationships.

  5. Develop regular e-mailings; both personal and for your business. Share your expertise with others. Join and be active in discussion groups and forums in your niche.

  6. Facts tell and stories sell. Develop your own success story. Once you make that few sales tell your story to others within your sphere of influence. People will be attracted to your success and will want to help you be even more successful.

  7. Save time and effort by duplicating the success of others whenever possible. If you want what others have in your life then do what they do.

  8. Develop some of your own ideas. Take chances, you won't always have success but the more things you try the more things will actually work.

  9. Make goals and do what you say you will do.

  10. PLAN - plan what you want and you'll get what you plan.

Some skills take months or even years to develop, but learning is not ever a waste of time. Never fear learning, leverage your skills as you develop them and turn your efforts into sales.
